Witness It Wednesday.

Today is quite a hard-hitting blog post. 
Not purposely done but I just want to show 'issues' that many are blind too and take you beyond the surface.
Now - I love animals but I am guilty of not going veggie or vegan (plant-based) due to the animals completely. Yes I went veggie at five years old, because I did see the cows being slaughtered and I didn't believe it was right to eat a healthy being, however I wasn't a big activist or anything about the way they were slaughtered etc, meat especially - I have NEVER like fish, can't even stand the smell, but meat just doesn't really agree with me - I get very sick of it and it only makes me ill. I guess it requires very acidic enzymes to break down in the stomach - like dairy which I also get very ill off, so I think I have always maybe lacked these enzymes or maybe mine don't work as effectively as other people's. I also went plant-based, which is basically vegan but this was due to my allergies as of course I can't have dairy and become extremely ill off that food group. Though during my research and following other plant-based vegan's who are a lot stricter than I am and who joined the 'vegan/plant-based community' due to their strong morals on the slaughtering of our animals and the production of our dairy products. 

I have learnt a lot from these guys who not only share their fab outlooks on life, their buzz from the way they eat, how they eat, how they have cured their diseases etc, they also use their YouTube stage as a platform to share info that people haven't and don't take into consideration. We are lazy and blind and we need to admit that - we accept what the media tell you as the truth and simply accept it ( I proved that yesterday in my tips on diets - they say restrict, we restrict etc.) 

Everyone who knows me knows I LOVE my conspiracies - and spend hours watching, and reading: programs, videos, books on all different theories. So these guys educating us on the behind the scenes of the dairy and meat industry has actually got me thinking - that again we have and are being brainwashed everyday and never told the truth.

I would be most grateful is you could take a moment out of your day and just check out this video - I didn't want to put too much 'graphic'  content up on here - as I know I can't even watch some of the slaughtering.. but just take a moment to digest some of this information - as a lot is based on diet too and can help you pin-point maybe why you are suffering from somethings.
 

 

 Please take a moment to think about your pets - would you feel comfortable them going through all that dis-stress and cruelty and do you want to be eating all of the rubbish ( hormones, mercury etc) that these animals are being fed in order to produce more products and 'fatten' up? Is it any wonder people gain weight and gain life threatening diseases so easily these days.

You also have to think about the negative energy that you are feeding your body - after food gives you 'energy' so those negative energy and vibes are going to be passed on to you. There is evidence to show that people with diets high in dairy and meat do suffer from mood swings: becoming aggressive, depressed, frustrated and sometimes they can simply lash out without explanation this has been proven to be because of all the extra hormones that have been fed to the animals themselves and therefore passed on to us

Food for thought.
But like I have said I am not here to push these kind of views on you - I am here to help and educate with allergies and over health, but knowledge is power and I want to give you the whole picture and after-all it is related because what is fed to these animals and how they are treated is effecting us and our health - allergies, diseases etc.

 

 Now I want to share more positive vibes with you -I don't want this blog post to be a negative one at all!

So let's throw some positive vibes in here.
Some success stories of people who have reversed disease or improved dramatically improved through changing to a plant-based diet!

 

 

 

 

 

 Just a few ways and a few people's outlook on the plant-based vegan diet.
As you can see the health benefits are actually truly life changing - people aren't just preaching that your life will be better and you will feel better, like diets in the media do 'lose 10lbs in 3 days' and then it actually not being as it seems, these people are off medications, are living longer, feel BETTER and they are here prove to tell you this. To me why wouldn't you want to try this - a lifestyle that meant you could improve so many health issues that have plagued you for years and get off annoying mind-numbing medications eventually - or some at least.



So I feel I have faced you with a lot of info today and it may take a moment to read this post properly and really take in the facts but I hope you do spend the time because I think there are SO many important points in these videos.

Wake up every morning and ATLEAST have one glass of lemon water before doing anything else! Ideally try to drink a litre of water. The lemon wakes up your digestive system ready for the day and has great cleansing properties.

Check your dairy and meat intake - dairy can sit in your system for up to seven days unable to digest properly. Meaning other foods also get neglected and nurtients aren't absorbed properly and you feel extremely bloated. Go and smell your food bin, your stomach will be in that state. Rotting foods in your belly - hmm nice.

DO NOT FEAR CARBS - THEY ARE NOT THE ENEMY! CARB UP!!
Bananas, Rice, Potatoes, Leafy Greens, Corn, Beans, Lentils etc PACK THEM IN GO MAD.

NEVER COUNT CALORIES - NEVER RESTRICT!! These restriction 'starvation' diets who tell you to only eat 500 calories a day then have a treat day - where you binge out and eat WAY too much, is simply messing up your metabolism and on your binge days yours body stores all the fat meaning you gain weight because it knows it is going to go back into starvation mode and needs to hold onto every little thing it can. HELLO WEIGHT GAIN. 

Life is too short not to live it to the full, making yourself happy.
