It has all come around so fast and I feel I have well and truly run out of time. We are still working out the technical side of things to make sure we can keep you guys updated however setting up all of this has been an nightmare and is still not fully complete - NIGHTMARE. FREAK OUT.
I CAN'T WAIT to get on that plane - then hopefully all the stress will melt away and we will finally be in holiday mode.
Of course plane food is going to be one hell of a challenge - as I won't be able to eat any or much of my main meals so I am literally going to have to search high and low for food in the airport to see me through the flight because annoyingly you can't take anything these days through security! I mean come on - I am lucky to just get myself through security - I ALWAYS buzz and get the full search, then spend half an hour putting everything back on and everything back in my bag. Nightmare - hate security!! So stressful.
Anyways once we have got to the airport the stress will be over and we have carb'ed up - chilled out and know we have food, bags are on and the holiday is beginning - we are all set.
I can't wait to get going and get eating through America! I can't wait to explore Whole Foods too - I have seen and heard so many amazing things on YouTube about what they have to offer that I simply can't wait to see for myself - as it is always different seeing it all and tasting it all in real life for yourself.
Then we have the excitement of all the venturing we will be doing and the adventures we will be going on. EEEEK so exciting.
I have been eating all the things I think I may miss whilst over there from my recipe book - cookie dough balls, banana, mango & passionfruit nice cream, RICE with my fave veggies and lime for the refreshing summer vibe, peanut butter noodles, cheesy lasagna, muesli, hotshot hot chocolates and smoothies. As I know they won't have some products I get over here over there. Which is a pity but it gives me the opportunity to experience new things and tastes which is part of the experience.
Hoping to have a lovely girls cinema trip with Mama later - to bond before not seeing her for what will feel like an age when we see eachother almost everyday. Though it all depends on whether I am on top of everything or not. Though could really do with the girly time.
I may not be able to blog everyday but we will keep your updated the best we can.
The craziness is about to start.

Feeling sluggish and rubbish when you have woken up? Get boosting up on bananas the more the better - they will help settle your stomach, boosting digestion, they are a mood enhancer, they will give you the energy you need and keep you full. Buy my book for banana receipe ideas.
Wake up every morning and ATLEAST have one glass of lemon water before doing anything else! Ideally try to drink a litre of water. The lemon wakes up your digestive system ready for the day and has great cleansing properties.
Check your dairy and meat intake - dairy can sit in your system for up to seven days unable to digest properly. Meaning other foods also get neglected and nurtients aren't absorbed properly and you feel extremely bloated. Go and smell your food bin, your stomach will be in that state. Rotting foods in your belly - hmm nice.
DO NOT FEAR CARBS - THEY ARE NOT THE ENEMY! CARB UP!!
Bananas, Rice, Potatoes, Leafy Greens, Corn, Beans, Lentils etc PACK THEM IN GO MAD.
NEVER COUNT CALORIES - NEVER RESTRICT!! These restriction 'starvation' diets who tell you to only eat 500 calories a day then have a treat day - where you binge out and eat WAY too much, is simply messing up your metabolism and on your binge days yours body stores all the fat meaning you gain weight because it knows it is going to go back into starvation mode and needs to hold onto every little thing it can. HELLO WEIGHT GAIN.
Life is too short not to live it to the full, making yourself happy.
