Waterstones Sell Out!

More crazy news - Waterstones have now sold out! 

You must all be getting in there to get your copies for Christmas. Amazon and Waterstones should be in back in stock very soon as I know Shield Crest are working extremely hard to get more books published ASAP. 

This is just amazing and I am so blessed and grateful for all the support! You must all be enjoying the book and I really do hope it is helping you. 

Just inspires me to get working on ideas for my next book.

Again I would just like to say a MASSIVE thank you, this is insane. However even speaking to suppliers for my Xmas gifts, family friends, businesses,etc everyone is so postivie and supportive of the book and my story. I hear daily from people suffering just as I am who get fobbed off by health professionals and don't know where to turn so end up living with the awful effects we get due to allergies. 

It can be very isolating. People tell me how they don't go out with family and friends or they find holidays too stressful or go to 'self-catered' resorts and villas. This shouldn't be the case, we should be living life to the fullest. We shouldn't have to make compromises and we should definitely not be missing out on huge events like family, friend's gatherings and holidays. This is my mission, to end this. To raise awareness that more and more restaurants, holiday resorts, food manufacturers and businesses become far more aware of food allergens and learn how to cater for them. It is a growing problem, we all need to stand up and take action on.

I hope to help people find foods to eat whilst travelling, as I love to travel and I am definitely not willing to give up that passion of mine due to my food allergies. That is why I am so passionate about re-creating recipes, finding restaurants that cater for allergies and markets abroad where you can source ingredients, to make life easier for you and the trip to c

 

 

ause less anxiety and stress for ALL, as family and friends who travel with you feel the effects of the stresses caused by your allergens too.

COOKING TIPS

Feeling sluggish and rubbish when you have woken up? Get boosting up on bananas the more the better - they will help settle your stomach, boosting digestion, they are a mood enhancer, they will give you the energy you need and keep you full. Buy my book for banana receipe ideas.

Wake up every morning and ATLEAST have one glass of lemon water before doing anything else! Ideally try to drink a litre of water. The lemon wakes up your digestive system ready for the day and has great cleansing properties.

Check your dairy and meat intake - dairy can sit in your system for up to seven days unable to digest properly. Meaning other foods also get neglected and nurtients aren't absorbed properly and you feel extremely bloated. Go and smell your food bin, your stomach will be in that state. Rotting foods in your belly - hmm nice.

DO NOT FEAR CARBS - THEY ARE NOT THE ENEMY! CARB UP!!
Bananas, Rice, Potatoes, Leafy Greens, Corn, Beans, Lentils etc PACK THEM IN GO MAD.

NEVER COUNT CALORIES - NEVER RESTRICT!! These restriction 'starvation' diets who tell you to only eat 500 calories a day then have a treat day - where you binge out and eat WAY too much, is simply messing up your metabolism and on your binge days yours body stores all the fat meaning you gain weight because it knows it is going to go back into starvation mode and needs to hold onto every little thing it can. HELLO WEIGHT GAIN. 

Life is too short not to live it to the full, making yourself happy.
