Tesco Promoting The Plant Based Life.

May 9, 2017

This is fab news.

Tesco are now adding and promoting the plant based lifestyle and encouraging people to add more fruit & veg to their diets.

They are showing different recipes to give a go that simply include more fresh ingredients and home cooked food. So don't worry about recipes or how you can add these extra veg in. The recipes will help inspire you.

Definitely give it a go. Even if you just test a few of their suggest recipes to see if you feel better in yourself & you are enjoy eating the cooking the food. You can find recipes on the Tesco website or in stores.

After all the negativity that this way of living & eating has gotten in the past it is brill to see that people are realising that actually from what was once seen as a rabbit diet actually does make them feel better and is helping their health.

We know that plants help us heal far better than Western medicine and it's common knowledge that throughout the world scientists and doctors are constantly testing new herbal, plant medicines out to heal, treat and possibly cure our number one killers - cancer, heart disease and other chronic illnesses.

So if plants can heal what were once seen as incurable diseases then why wouldn't they make you feel better in yourself & body. More energy, better digestion, less mood swings, more nutrients. Why wouldn't you want to give it a shot.

I was so fortunate to come across the plant based way of eating about 18 months ago, because doctors and nutritionalists all just wanted me to go down the 'junkie, processed' route which was causing me more bad reactions due to the toxins which of course at the time I didn't know or realise why these toxins were reacting to me but the food wasn't doing my health any good and I couldn't manage the reactions. The plant based lifestyle enabled me to eat & not having any horrible reactions that would knock me back and make me worse. God knows what state I would be in without the knowledge I gained through my plantbased journey and the changes I made to my diet.

If you suffer from these fatal conditions please, please do try a more plant based diet and cut as many toxins out as you can. We can never fully remove them fully from our diets because they are everywhere and in everything! Though some changes and adaptations could make all the difference in how you are feeling day to day.

So get on down to your supermarket and get loading that trolley with goodness. Rush past the processed, packaged aisle and shop fresh.

Already made the change? Do you feel better?

How do you feel when you have eaten a dish more veggie / fruit based?

The world will may be beginning to wake up and realise change is needed for our health.

Keep spreading the word.

Love and peace

COOKING TIPS

#1
Feeling sluggish and rubbish when you have woken up? Get boosting up on bananas the more the better - they will help settle your stomach, boosting digestion, they are a mood enhancer, they will give you the energy you need and keep you full. Buy my book for banana receipe ideas.

#2
Wake up every morning and ATLEAST have one glass of lemon water before doing anything else! Ideally try to drink a litre of water. The lemon wakes up your digestive system ready for the day and has great cleansing properties.

#3
Check your dairy and meat intake - dairy can sit in your system for up to seven days unable to digest properly. Meaning other foods also get neglected and nurtients aren't absorbed properly and you feel extremely bloated. Go and smell your food bin, your stomach will be in that state. Rotting foods in your belly - hmm nice.

#4
DO NOT FEAR CARBS - THEY ARE NOT THE ENEMY! CARB UP!!
Bananas, Rice, Potatoes, Leafy Greens, Corn, Beans, Lentils etc PACK THEM IN GO MAD.

#5
NEVER COUNT CALORIES - NEVER RESTRICT!! These restriction 'starvation' diets who tell you to only eat 500 calories a day then have a treat day - where you binge out and eat WAY too much, is simply messing up your metabolism and on your binge days yours body stores all the fat meaning you gain weight because it knows it is going to go back into starvation mode and needs to hold onto every little thing it can. HELLO WEIGHT GAIN.

Life is too short not to live it to the full, making yourself happy.
