The First Day Of British Summer-time

The lambs are being born and skipping around our fields, the daffodils 🌼 are blooming, the leaves are fresh and green and the temperature is on the rise. 

 

 

All positive and beautiful pleasures in life. 

 

Like the full moon, this time in the year was my favourite.

You didn’t have long left of the school year. 

Summer holidays were booked and you were getting excited.

The sun appeared more often.

The landscape was so beautifully pleasing on the eyes.

Longer days. 

Light nights. 

The temperature got warmer.

And you knew this was the beginning of a good 5 months of the above. Before fall draws in the cold, dark weather and nights.

 

Now. Now it’s a worrying time of year.

 

Ticks are out in force. 

The number is in the hundreds of thousands who will contract the disease this year worldwide . Yet. Numbers are often manipulated so then people don’t realise the real threat of the disease. This causes major damage. 

 

Why? 

The longer the ignorance goes on, the more people are struck down by this hell.

 

As a society we are guilty of being very, very narrow-minded.

So what if more people get bitten on their fun outdoor activities?

 

Antibiotics will solve the problem.

 

No.

 

Wake up. 

Listen to the stories, read the evidence, gain the knowledge. 

 

Antibiotics don’t cure viruses and now they are becoming clever and finding ways to take over the body regardless of antibiotic treatment as they make themselves immune to them.

 

2-3 week course at first may clear the Lyme bacteria up. If caught very early. Even sufferers that were treated in the early days of contracting the disease are now beginning to go on and relapse later down the line.

7 out of 12 early Lyme patients relapse.

 

Of course chronic Lyme is a myth. It’s a fake illness we have made up. 

 

Authorities have tried to tell us all that Lyme is not a killer and can be cured. Knowing and having evidence they try to suppress clearly showing that chronic Lyme does exist and that antibiotics really aren’t the answer to a true cure. 

 

You may get treated and breathe a sigh of relief that you missed a bullet. 

To then come down with neurological issues, joint problems, cardiac issues and health problems many years later. 

The Lyme re-activating itself. ( Relaspe).

 

The symptoms are so debilitating that people can’t work, they can’t have children, need around the clock care and lose their quality of life. 

 

The ignorance having a knock on effect on society because offices become empty, tax payers have to pay the benefits that sufferers need and require. People have to rely more on the state to live. 

We promote self-employment, being financially stable for ourselves and working hard.

 

We can’t succeed or live up to those expects. Not because we don’t want to! Many sufferers were highly successful prior to becoming sick. We simply can’t. 

 

It’s not an excuse it’s reality.

 

It even affects society in that sense that ‘cured’ patients have children but have passed on the infection to the unborn child. The state then paying for two poorly people.

 

The NHS is already extremely over-run. So why, the ignorance and dismissal? Adding to their work load in the long term.

 

Right now, right this second it’s too complex of an issue for them to want to take note of.

For them it would be the dream for Lyme to die a sudden death. No longer being a issue. Thats why so many of us are called crazy! It means that for them the issue of Lyme doesn’t exist. 

 

Cancer doesn’t get this kind of judgement or dismissal. 

 

 

Cancer is a horrible a hell of a terrible disease.

So is Lyme.

 

We do die in the end but it’s a long, painful, drawn out existence.

 

I don’t know what’s worst - a life for of years of pain or a life cut short. 

 

We have limited options to try and soothe the pain.

 

I’ve come to realise, though I continue to fight for a cure everyday. My medicine is simply the things in life that give me most pleasure;

 

Time with friends, time with family, mini trips, Sun, holidays, memories, laughter, love and so on. 

 

It’s important to ensure there is a good dose of the above in our lives to inspire us to keep fighting.

 

It’s the only way to stay sane.

 

We can spend thousands and thousands on treatment, for what? There is no cure, only short term relief that can go on to cause further damage.

 

Summertime is here.

 

Be smart.

Protect yourself.

Lyme doesn’t discriminate but my GOD is it destructive.

Check your dairy and meat intake - dairy can sit in your system for up to seven days unable to digest properly. Meaning other foods also get neglected and nurtients aren't absorbed properly and you feel extremely bloated. Go and smell your food bin, your stomach will be in that state. Rotting foods in your belly - hmm nice.

DO NOT FEAR CARBS - THEY ARE NOT THE ENEMY! CARB UP!!
Bananas, Rice, Potatoes, Leafy Greens, Corn, Beans, Lentils etc PACK THEM IN GO MAD.

NEVER COUNT CALORIES - NEVER RESTRICT!! These restriction 'starvation' diets who tell you to only eat 500 calories a day then have a treat day - where you binge out and eat WAY too much, is simply messing up your metabolism and on your binge days yours body stores all the fat meaning you gain weight because it knows it is going to go back into starvation mode and needs to hold onto every little thing it can. HELLO WEIGHT GAIN. 

Life is too short not to live it to the full, making yourself happy.
