What Lies Ahead

We are already four days into this year and I have read a lot of 'predictions' for the year ahead. Often I would find comfort on trying to forward think and predict what lies ahead. I often think it is best to keep an open mind, not try to 'plan' out or expect anything from the year. We all have goals we set and dreams we want to chase but we don't have control over fate, we don't know where our paths may lead and we certainly don't have control over other people. 

 

I think often predicting, as with planning can often lead to disappointment and maybe even add extra stress. We may worry about things that may not even occur, and what a waste of our precious time that is. I find often it is best to set goals so we give ourselves something to work towards, proof of purpose and keeps us motivated but to be flexible in our choice of time-scales and be honest with ourselves how much we can really expect from ourselves given all of our circumstances. 

 

It is a hard lesson to learn, to pace, to accept your health and circumstances. It isn't an over-night habit you can break. It is GREAT to have ambition and I wouldn't have it any other way but some days ambition can be a major flaw because you become so focused and so set, that everything else gets forgotten - including yourself. 

 

It takes a lot to overcome the fear of judgements and learn to let go of people who have let you go or are a negative drain on your life. Frankly, it is one of the most upsetting lessons we have to learn. That we have to feel such great pain and hurt to understand what we truly deserve. 

 

Nobody has a crystal ball, nobody can truly knows what is in store for us. We can only do our best and as long as we can say we tried our best, did as much as we could have done then that is all we can ask for ourselves. 

 

Law of attraction is very real and I think if we all keep in mind that; passion, a positive mind, motivation and ambition are the four traits we should champion not leaving out gratitude. Gratitude is the attitude to add brightness to your days. 'EXPECTING' things won't achieve anything. You have to work hard, put in the time adding your sparkle. No matter what cards we are dealt if we can always seen the silver linings then nothing will ever really faze us. We all have to experience pain sadly and we all must go through the storms to appreciate the sun. We all have harder years and some years that we wish we could hold on to. Life is scary, in many ways, change is frightening and moving on to a new page in the book keeps you on edge. We will always hope that the universe will be kind to us we are human. Life is the toughest job any of us will ever take on. The universe can't always answer all our prayers or grant all our wishes, we are responsible for making our lives, life and our circumstances how they become. We add colour to the painting, add sparkle to the stars and add words to the pages. We don't have control over a lot but what we do have control over can be very powerful, so we must ensure we use our powers correctly.

 

Whatever 2019 holds we have to add the sparkle, spread the love and learn on the job. We have the power and hold the key to creating our own dreams.....

Wake up every morning and ATLEAST have one glass of lemon water before doing anything else! Ideally try to drink a litre of water. The lemon wakes up your digestive system ready for the day and has great cleansing properties.

Check your dairy and meat intake - dairy can sit in your system for up to seven days unable to digest properly. Meaning other foods also get neglected and nurtients aren't absorbed properly and you feel extremely bloated. Go and smell your food bin, your stomach will be in that state. Rotting foods in your belly - hmm nice.

DO NOT FEAR CARBS - THEY ARE NOT THE ENEMY! CARB UP!!
Bananas, Rice, Potatoes, Leafy Greens, Corn, Beans, Lentils etc PACK THEM IN GO MAD.

NEVER COUNT CALORIES - NEVER RESTRICT!! These restriction 'starvation' diets who tell you to only eat 500 calories a day then have a treat day - where you binge out and eat WAY too much, is simply messing up your metabolism and on your binge days yours body stores all the fat meaning you gain weight because it knows it is going to go back into starvation mode and needs to hold onto every little thing it can. HELLO WEIGHT GAIN. 

Life is too short not to live it to the full, making yourself happy.
